Once all this beautiful fresh produce is collected, you will make your way to the rustic ruins of the Blue Hole Estate Great House to indulge in a taste, touch, and smell experience like no other.

For those who love to dive into the local flare this is a day you won’t want to miss! Begin your day with a journey to Pumpkin Bottom, where you can meet and experience a day in a local farming community. Learn the rich history of how sharecropping began in Jamaica, and the wealth of crops they produce currently. Interact with the local people of this farming community learning of their daily chores, and processes on the farm. After a quick hike to a subsistence farm in the hills of Kennilworth, you will be encouraged to select, and help harvest local vegetables, and fruits that will be part of your Jamaican cooking demonstration.

On arrival you will be greeted with a refreshing drink of a lemongrass iced tea to sip while being guided through the history of the Great House.

Fully immersed in the natural surroundings of the ruins, prepare to be delighted with your local chef’s knowledge, cooking methods, and uses of the produce harvested from the farm. Next is the “piece de resistance”, where you can dig in and sample all of these wonderful flavors.

When your appetite is satisfied, your guide will transport you back to our seaside location where your journey began. Spend the rest of your day relaxing in the gorgeous infinity pool, or by the seaside lounge area.
